This. I'm not a fan of Jobs -he was a good salesman, maybe the greatest, but he was no modern da Vinci or tech guru (actually, he knew nothing about programming)- but it is clear to see that, without Jobs at the helm, Apple lost its vision, both in the 1985-1998 period and now.

>Aren't SSDs good for pretty much just your OS (because you're not supposed to write to them pretty often)?
Modern SSDs don't really suffer from this anymore. It used to be a real concern, but not flash storage is insanely tougher than it was before, and controllers for flash storage are way more intelligent about how they handle stuff.
> £150 mouse
Actually, that tier is a mouse and trackpad instead of one or the other.
They're both pretty shit tho, if I'm being honest. I hate the way the Mac Mouse feels, and at, basically £75 it's not remotely worth it. The Trackpad...I can see why some people like it, honestly, but it's not for me.

iMac Pros are retarded though, I will completely agree.

Not really, no. I've given it two times, used it about 2 years in total. About one year Windows 7 on a windows 7 laptop and about one year Windows 8.1 on a Windows 8.1 laptop. (Win7 worked better, btw)

It just breaks. Without me doing anything. In those 2 years I reinstalled 5 times iirc. No cracks or other shady shit. Just android studio, steam and some minor stuff like Notepad++ or VLC etc.
Never again. Not even for vidya, I swallowed the consolepill and pretend to be happy with the macbookmafia.

Samsungfag here and I feel the same except I'm waiting for the next iPhone itself and not the Pixel to see what they do.

With the Bixby shit and edged forced memes if Apple nails it with iPhone 8 I can't think of any reasons to stay on Android.

Samsung is now a gimmick phone maker. It's crazy, they are now the equivalent of a gaming laptop with all the flashing LEDs. Not necessarily a bad device but what happened to just making a great phone?

That's what Android used to be about man, it used to be, you got a file system, you had more control over your own device. It was about the PHONE. Now it's it's all gimmicks and faggotry because phones got perfected anyway and there's nowhere else to push it.

I mean, a fucking bixby button suck my dick.

Someone could come out with a really great Android phone, like Pixel 2, I guess. But iPhones are now way ahead in speed. I think it will be more on Apple not to screw up than on another company to do well.

More than anything I'd like a more impressive screen on iPhone though.

Hey /g/, does anyone know where to find a download of Daz's Loader? I'm trying to validate Windows 7.

It used to be on mydigitallife but I can't seem to find it now.

>The scene where Jobs and Markkula negotiate Apple's first infusion of venture capital takes place in Jobs' parents' dining room, with his mother serving the confused Markkula bread and a plate of fruit. "Steve's a fruitarian," she explains.

>The filmmakers also took some creative liberties with a few of Wozniak's most prominent scenes. "Jobs" shows Wozniak (Josh Gad) fumbling to explain their primitive computer onstage to a bored audience at Stanford University's Homebrew computer club while Jobs fidgets silently in the audience.
