I do need to start taking pictures of some of the newer arrivals, especially when the Grand Quartz arrives.

>You can tinker with mechanical things like old bikes and automatic movement watches a lot more than modern pcb electronics, quartz watches, etc

Servicing watches requires precision work. The precision work is more akin to working with small electronics/electronic components rather than fixing a bike. Fixing bicycles, although does require skill, is rather rudimentary.

t.poor soldier who's job is to do field repairs on very sensitive equipment

Also, you aren't going to get any shekels from fixing dogshit quartz watches you bought from some backstreet hobo.

Seiko 5, all new models come with a exhibition caseback and get a leather strap for it separately.

SNK809 is pretty popular, but plenty of other models to get.

Get a new strap while you're at it.

Also, it seems that there are an awful lot of new blood joining in with all the SNK809's and Vostok's being bought.

You could get a decent quartz chronograph from Seiko or Citizen.

A lot of their models are aviation-esq, but i think something along the SSB line from Seiko would be nice. Especially interesting is the 6T6X/VK64 mechaquartz movement. (SSB031P1 as an example)

Or attempt to get a decent shape Poljot 3133.

>>56870601
Ignore and filter him.

Overall, a British made Timex that's in good shape is worth a 40$ and up to 75$ in mint shape.

But the one you posted is far from it.

Depends on the movement, but Seiko/Orient (like the 7T92/94A), Casio and Citizen have a few analog quartz chrono movements that can do that.

As far as the Swiss, i'm not sure.

Mechanical chronographs are a whole different story. Also, i need to take an update pic by now.

There is also former naval kike lurking here with his SARG017.

Odd.

I recall discussing it with a soviet watchmaker while he was working on one of my slav watches that they used to slightly chop some of it off, heat it for a while and slightly bend it to proper fit the barrel. Could be because they were given universally big replacement mainsprings though.

Either way, quit being a (terrible) kike and buy a new lower tension mainspring.

The picture explains the reason quite well as to why i usually only wear one.

Though i can take certain watches with me, but vintage JDM pieces and frail slav watches can't handle it.

SRP307 Gen 2 (pre-prospex) Monster.

As far as i recall it's bigger than the SKX007, so about a 7inch/18cm wrist size is the ideal minimum.

>>55704727
I liked his pappy's Seiko, being a proper slim one.

Yours is more on the ugly side, the bracelet and the cheap finishing as shown in the pic contributes to that.

>>55705062
>Why is /wt/ full of newfaggots?
Mostly the last few threads or so.

Seems the cancunks aren't here to bump up the level, so the lone kike has to do so.

>Seiko automatics, Seiko 5s, Grand Seikos.

Nigga if you want me to start posting my slav watches you could just ask.

But this literally is newfag/retard tier post, since there is usually some variance in these threads. A.E some are more Seiko focused while some can be Swiss meme discussions but threads go where threads go.

(newer) Tissot is shit and the lower to mid end Orient's are mostly based on the same 1970's Seiko 7005 movement. Bulova precisionists are not that interesting as the older tuning fork models and the inhouse automatics from the 60's and 70's (Plus they are posted almost every thread. Rest of that shit you're spewed isn't even worth addressing.

Lurk more and think before posting.
