> I skimmed documentation of Python after people told me it was fundamentally similar to Lisp. My conclusion is that that is not so. `read', `eval', and `print' are all missing in Python.

I'm also testing Xfce

some things don't seem to work, others come horribly misconfigured

but it has the potential since Gnome and Unity are going nowhere with their shiny shits

http://stallman.org/articles/children.html

>I decided not to have children. My family was full of tension and anger, and then I noticed that many others were too. Such a family life was in no way attractive. When older, often I saw parents rebuke their children for playing with me, or even in my vicinity, assuming it would bother me — without waiting to see if I objected. Rebuking those children had become an ingrained, automatic habit. To see this made me sad for them, but I knew I would be the same as a parent. I would not be able cope with a frequently crying baby without becoming upset and angry.

I took my computer apart and put it back together again for learning purposes

My CPU fan is getting disturbingly loud at things it didnt before since then though.

Do I just need to apply more thermal paste? The original thermal paste has worn off for the most part. How much thermal paste should I put on?

It's a core 2 quad and I don't overclock if that helps.

I hear all this shitstorm between audio file formats, but what's the best VIDEO file format /g/? and why?

I'm not doing this to troll or create shitstorm; I'm genuinely curious because I don't know shit about video file formats, I need education.
