These are my beaters for work, then I have the Seiko 5 sport which I also got earlier this week, and now the mako. Wanted to get a mechanical movement, and got the seiko, wasn't considering a dive watch but then copped the mako on a whim and am glad I did, I really like it so far.

I've got my dad's old g shock from when he was with the fire dept, and I've got this trio of workhorses, but I'm looking for something mechanical, and a bit nicer.

Best mechanical watch for:

$100?
$200?
$300?
$400?
$500?

Preferably one with a brown leather strap.

I don't really know shit about watches, but as an engineer (well studied engineering, but work as a physicist), I always though mechanical watches were cool, and finally have money to buy one.

>Pretty sure it'll get you on a watchlist, though.
What? Why do you say that? It's one of my go-to work watches.

Hamilton vs Tissot?
And how legit is Jomashop?
I saw it posted on here I think so I'm assuming it's fine to buy from.
Looking at at Hamilton Jazzmaster for my first watch that costs over 50 bucks.
This is the current extent of my collection.

This is the current extent of my watch collection. I work with radioactive material and high voltage supplies, so I just have stuff that can be easily replaced if damaged/contaminated.
I'm interested in getting a nicer mechanical watch (up to 500 USD), as well as a nice field watch (up to 200 USD, maybe 300).
As you can probably tell, I don't know much about watches, so any recs/guidance would be appreciated.
