James Bond looks cool in whatever in the same way that Ryan Gossling looks cool as hell in that silver scorpion jacket, but every guy from /tv/ who bought one looks like a total jabroni.
He gets to wear a Rolex on a nasty looking undersized NATO BECAUSE he's James Bond (And also hiccups in getting the right stuff in time for the movie, and the fact that I'm pretty sure he swam to the event); anyone else trying to emulate him just looks like some sad LARPer from one of those Bond forums that buys everything Bond wears in an attempt to give themselves some sort of an image or personality.

what does that measure and how large is your wrist? Also you have to understand a dress watch is supposed to remain hidden while being worn. Most of them have been pretty small in diameter and are hand wound so they always slide under the cuff.

Pretty much. That would be the same.

that being said, the first watch we ever saw bond wear on film was a decently dressy piece when he was dressed up. He switched to the sub when spywork got more serious.

Questions for fun.

>Which you wear the most:

>What makes the watch mechanically/technically interesting

>Anything else unique or novel that compels you to wear it:

>Which watch, if given to you, would dethrone your most worn watch:

>What makes that watch mechanically/technically interesting:

>Anything else unique or novel that contributes to the dethroning

The first watch James Bond wore in a film was a Gruen. There's a lot of cool vintage Gruen.
