Gateron clears at home, cherry whites at work. I have a whole list of switches that I had my fingers on and I can tell you that out of all of them, browns have been the most disappointing so far.

Eh, it's not that bad when you have one of the highest standards of living and as well as high salaries.

Almost makes up for the fact that it's cold in winter.

Linear, with a rubbery feeling at the bottom of the keystroke. I wouldn't recommend them.

Logitech keyboards are shit. Dead LEDs, non-standard bottom rows and even non-standard stabilizer placement is what awaits you should you actually waste your money on one.

Get a Ducky One with dyesubbed PBT caps with something else than cherry browns.

Have you ever used a linear switch?

Like the other anon said, rubber domes are tactile by their very nature.
>different from a Realforce
It's not. I've had my hands on every topre board commonly available and the Realforce doesn't feel any more linear than any other topre board.

I don't have any particular plans for that switchboard PCB if that's what you're asking about.

CM and Ducky are the ones you should be considering. If you don't care about backlighting, I'd get a Ducky One with dyesubbed PBT caps.

Get blacks. Browns feel like reds with dirt in them.

Just build a keyboard with the same layout yourself. I think you can even get a DIY kit on aliexpress.

Though if you want that thocc that comes with the plastic mounting plate of the HHKB, you'll be disappointed. You're not getting that out of discrete switches.

>Looks like a decent mechanical keyboard for the price or am I wrong here?
Non-standard bottom row and flimsy build quality. Get something else.

While I'm fairly sure that we won't be involved in the next world war (which seems to be just around the corner), I don't think it'll be due to the topographical nature of our country. Invading Switzerland wouldn't be particularly difficult, sure you'd have those mountainous areas, but those aren't very populated and would only serve as a recluse for soldiers, who in turn would get demoralized quite quickly since the whole civilian population would be under enemy occupation.

The only reason we didn't get invaded in WWII is because we were already kissing the asses of the Nazis and they had better things to conquer first.

>>57143158
>that greens are imprecise
Did you even consider this logically for half a second before accepting it as fact?
What's that even supposed to mean, how are switches "imprecise"?

Oh. My bad in that case.

Here's your source, I have one myself.

The case is thin and flimsy and the metal plate flexes, not to mention the pinging noise it produces on the upstroke.

There's less shitposting in here nowadays, so they've gotten a bit slower. Sometimes they're lively, sometimes not so much, but the meme has hardly died down, the market just keeps on growing.

You could spend something around 100 bucks (plus shipping) on DSA profile keycaps from signature plastics.
That's about your only option in terms of keycaps, unless you find a group buy for some set that supports all kinds of ridiculous layouts, though that'd probably get even more expensive.
You can't do a whole lot in terms of aesthetic customization with a fucker as non-standard as this one.

>>56879065
Yeah, though I don't mind the lacking arrow keys on a 60%, I find actually having dedicated arrow keys to be quite comfy. With the full programmability of the tada, having that extra row on the right is especially nice since you can use it for media controls or whatever else you like.

>I look forward to seeing whatever you come up with.
Cheers, I want to give CNC'ing keycaps a try and I'm currently working on something that started as a 40% keyboard with another tripfag from around here.

And I want to give anodizing a try, but first I want a nice bench power supply. Just ordered the parts for that actually.

Replace whatever switches are in yours with matias QC or those new cherry silent switches.

Or just get a laptop with a keyboard that doesn't suck ass.

And you even have a better selection of beer over there, despite us being right under Germany and you being the country of wine. Baisez-vous, s.v.p.
Or at least send me some belgian beer.
