Thanks for the feedback. I'm a student, one more semester for my first degree (network engineering associate) and have never had a desktop. Plan to at least dual booth to some sort of linux, so I can learn more about it, through day-to-day use.

It it possible (or plausible) to get 10Gb/s speeds in my LAN? I know my speed to the internet will be the same regardless but I on occasion move a couple hundred GB's worth of shit from one to PC to my server over the network. Waiting 25 minutes because my speed maxes at 125MB/s is getting old.

How much of a disadvantage am I at with a board with 125hz polling over USB (WASD CODE)? My mobo doens't have a ps2 connection?

I just tried spamming i down on wordpad for 30 seconds and got 917 i's down, then tried the same thing with my old ducky shine 3 that claims to have 1000hz polling over usb but that got a about 900 i's down so I assume USB polling is capped or something.
