Blues aren't that heavy.

But if you got babbyfingers, you may also want to get reds. Browns suck because they are a shitty compromise between tactility and weight. They feel like reds with dirt in them.

Clears are heavier than blues.

I had the apex raw once, it died on me within 36 hours of receiving it. Then I got a refund and ordered a mech.

It was a piece of shit, but if it hadn't been I wouldn't be knees deep into this shit, so I can't say that I regret it that much.

Among others, yes.

Looking forward to the Tada68 that should be coming in sometime soon, I miss playing insurgency on gateron clears.

I wouldn't expect someone who's getting his first mechanical keyboard to know what he really wants.

Better get a cheap one first to give yourself an idea of what you're dealing with, and then work your way from there. I had absolutely no idea what it'd be like before I actually set my fingers on my first mech.

>Getting another keyboard?
Well, I am in fact waiting for another keyboard to be shipped to me, but that's not really the reason why I'm looking to sell this baby.

I just got used to sub-TKL keyboards and I have no reason to use a fullsize anymore. I'd still use that baby if it weren't for the fact that it's so fucking huge. Maybe I'll get a Shine Mini with clears sometime

The appeal of mechanical keyboards is how they feel to use and the high level of modularity. That's about it.

We should put this in the OP so people like you can stop asking this question

It's a piece of shit, my chinkboard has better build quality than the quickfire TK that I'm typing on right now.

>are brown switches really that bad?
Yes.

They're the shittiest switch that cherry has to offer.

I did use all of those switches, and I had absolutely no problems playing games. I obviously haven't played every single game that's on the market, but with any of the games I played, the switches haven't ever been a problem.

>Three? Ordering extras?
One to finish up that minimized AEK, the other two for whatever I'll be doing next. Got two numpads and a 40% (want to try etching my own PCBs) planned, depending on how workable they are I'll order some more, they're only five bucks a pop.
Oh yes, the memeforce needs some fixing too, but I can probably fix that without having to go as far as replacing the controller.

I don't know shit about microcontrollers or coding, but they use the same chip as the teensies, so I'm guessing that it should work out fine with the TMK firmware.
