yo I'm the guy who does dumb shit to levis (like turning some 510s into skinnies)
I'm also the only space anon that still posts and the guy who draws stuff

today I'm starting on another pair, the project is to take these 508s and add zippers to the calf so that when you zip them it drastically tapers them and I get a really different silhouette. since its a zipper you can switch back and forth between the fit you want. more pics on the way

anyone else have anything they are working on or ideas they have for nxtlvl garments? fuckin post ITT

these are the same pants when I had buttons on them to get the effect, but buttons weren't stable enough and the denim pillowed out between them and looked p bad unless I rearranged it every 5 mins. I'm thinking zipsll work much better

Textiles geek/prop fabricator here, you want Barge contact cement for this, nothing else is going to be good enough. Use it outside carefully with an applicator stick and WEAR A RESPIRATOR. Contact cement is some of the most fucking toxic shit out, using it indoors WITH a respirator can leave you feeling right fucked and sick pretty fast if you aren't careful

Dipped a black shirt in 3 cups of bleach diluted with 1 cup of water for the original dicoloration, for 10-15seconds. After, rinsed it with cold water for 20 or so seconds (This is why it's so dark, otherwise you would get a VERY bright orange/white, you can see it on the right shoulder, the bright discoloration). Let it dry completely and then I layed it flat in my bath tub and randomly threw bleach on it giving it that splash effect. After it dries again I rinsed it yet again in cold water till the water runs normal not orange (gets rid of excess bleach plus the smell of chlorine).
The t-shirt is 100% cotton and I bought it from target.

Yes it was a plain black cotton tee. The ones from Target are 2 for 13 bucks so it doesn't cost me much. Uniqlo cotton tees are cheap too. Or, you can buy them from people on the street (I see them all the time in NYC).
