I wash my hair daily because I do a lot of sports and get it sweaty and dirty daily.
Shampoo only once a week though, and in the morning a small amount of Paul Mitchell XTG Stylingcreme.
Keeps my hair in shape doesn’t dry out my skin, no dandruff and it looks great.

I mean I would say it depends. if your hair seems to be thinning visibly I might be worried but remember you lose approximately 100 hairs a day and the chance of them falling out and getting stuck in your hair is pretty high so there's a good chance when you grab those hairs in the shower you're just cleaning already dead hairs our of your scalp

ps yeah I had that fear for a long time but it's just something that kinda scares you irrationally the older you get I wouldn't stress

I haven't shampooed in about a year, and never plan to again unless a bird shits on my head or something like that.
I just use warm water and then pat dry with a towel as much as I can without making a frizzy mess. So I still have to let it air dry for a good few hours before it looks ideal, but of course I don't want to sit around with my dick in my hand so I usually go out with it still drying.

Well going off my routine, typically I just wash with water for the first 2 or 3 days and then I condition on the 3rd or 4th day. No shampoo at all. I use a little conditioner to help clean out any dirt in my hair since water won't get it all and it makes it a bit less greasy.

The conditioner should help reduce the greasiness but don't use much.

>> No.13630351

A few years back I used to shampoo and condition every day. My hair would get greasy within like a day. After a while got lazy so stopped washing every day. Can go like 4-5 days without washing now and my hair looks best on the 2nd and 3rd day. When I wash it I use a little bit of shampoo to get some of the grease out then use a decent amount of conditioner on the ends. My hair is kinda long so I comb it out, squeeze most of the water out and then let it air dry which takes a few hours but I only really wash my hair at night so that it has time to dry and be less frizzy

desu my hair hasnt looked this healthy for years.
i think me not washing it as much has helped it.
and the lack of shampoo and conditioner probably helps the natural oils heal the hair.
