im really into ebm, synthpop, industrial. i like kmfdm(kill mother fucking depeche mode!!!), front 242, skinny puppy(addiction is their best song off of M:TPI), and other bands. i wouldnt consider myself goth but whateverz. i usually wear band ts, gripfast or black jack purcell, but recently ordered some solovair oxfords in oxblood. i have some black jackets, a black mac coat, and jean jacket. most of all wear band ts like front 242, FLA, skinny puppy, wax trax bands, assemblage 23, black tape for a blue girl ect. try starting goth industrial dance nights at a local club or DJing events, that helps to get goth pu$$y.

like punk shows? the only advice i can give people is to support your local scene. i have friends who book shows, do dance nights, or DJ. its all about supporting your scene, going to shows, buying merch, going to dance nights. i dont do drugs anymore, the only drugs i did for fun are cocaine, and smoke weed. i guess meth is a prime drug maybe like 10 years ago, but im 31, so when i was 21 meth was cool, but i never did it. also theres lots of scene queens, people who dont really DIY or any of that stuff but show up to events or shows and be more "goth than thou". but yeah ive always been into skating or punk bands but like ebm,synth pop, industrial, 80s alternative. ive booked some shows, thrill kill kult, assemblage 23, ayria but i worked a full time job during the day as tech guy, i barley broke even with shows in the past.

I listen to the classic "goth" bands myself (The Cure, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy etc.) as well as goth-associated industrial bands (NIN, Thrill Kill Kult, Ministry etc.) but it seems that any "gothic" band after the 90s is considered "pleb" or "mall-goth"

I don't hear much love for more slightly more recent Darkwave groups like Birthday Massacre or Helalyn Flowers.
