hey guys, i am looking for shoes similar to common projects achilles low (pic).

The thing i like most about them is the silhouette of the shoe.

nothing too flat but also not too chunky. Minimal, looks great with chinos but also with jeans. Is a sneaker but can be dressed up and looks somewhat formal.

I should say i am after something cheaper

In terms of quality, you won't find anything else in that price range.

However, you still have Axel Arigato's as an option. They will crease a little bit more, but they have the same exact look and are half the price. The sole is exactly the same as the CPs too. Just different quality leather.

People will tell you CPs are the only option, but that's not even remotely true.

Honestly, id just get a pair of lanvins on clearance now, they're actually cheaper than CP Achilles now if you can find a good deal, which isn't hard. The beginning gimmick of common projects was that they made their shoes in the same factory as lanvin "for a fraction of the price", and "fraction" is certainly not the case anymore. And plus, lanvin low tops have a great silhouette, especially with the patent leather cap.
