i cut my hair earlier today. i feel like i did a decent job on the left picture. but my hair on the right just looks like its super poofy and unshaped on the other side. and i don't know how to shape it without fucking it up. I'm scared to attempt it honestly

since my hair is super frizzy and dense, i really don't know how to go about this. is there some sort of guide or rule of thumb when it comes to either layering or thinning?

could you post a pic of the style you are going for? or is this styled? the short side looks p awkward. i'd suggest to loose the sidepart and to get more defined curls.

Your hair looks like shit. Not the haircut, your hair.
It's too damaged, dry, or whatever it is, but something is just not right.

Also, you need special scisors to cut it so it doesn't look "poofy", and without tons of experience, you would fuck up if you used it.
