I don't know what sneakers to get. I new to effay and I read the sticky a few time already. I want to get Jack Purcell converse or authentic vans on the cheap tier, but it seems as though effay thinks only angsty teenagers wear them and it really discourages me to buy them even though I shouldn't take you guys very seriously.

I don't mind getting mid-high tier sneakers but some of them seem little too fancy for my taste. I'm a poor fag but I don't mind saving up for some high quality sneakers. It's just I want a few pairs of sneakers I can mix and match with my clothes. I only have one pair of converse that are pretty broken at this point and feel embarrassed to wear outside.

I really don't want any fancy looking sneakers, but I don't want sneakers that make look like I'm 15 or something. I want to have a punkish look, but you know:

I tried asking a few questions on Fuccboi General, but no one answers on questions. I apologize if I come of as entitled by making this thread, but I'm just impatient and I'm still pretty much confused after reading the sticky a few times.

i've never seen a teenager wear jack purcells, they're more of a mature/prep sneaker if anything.

in any case, it's not what you wear but rather how you wear it. vans authentics can project a juvenile appearance with skinny jeans, and they can project a wholly different image if worn as a minimalist low profile shoe in a relaxed japanese type streetwear outfit. it's all relative.
