I need a boot. I'm getting the 1461's for shoes but should I also get the 1460's for a boot or look somewhere else? Also general footwear/inspo thread.

>> No.9966353

Get the doc martens chelsea boot instead of the 1460s. and literally anything else but doc marten shoes.

I don't know if I could pull off a Chelsea boot ;_;

DON'T DO THAT
I saw them IRL, fat, chunky disgusting hideous Lego shoe plastic pieces of shit, they are horrific and will not suit any outfits.

So what brand is a good boot to buy within the $100-$200 price range?

Same here, i need a <$200 combat style boot in black color. I love those iconic combats with round toes. I like the docs but the toes is not round enough and i hate the contrast stitching and a pleby feel about them.

What about something like Red Wings that aren't $500?

Recently ordered doc martens 1461 mono black. Can anyone who has/had them tell me their opinions on them? Do they look less like dress shoes when you wear them a lot and break them in?

Not sure what aesthetic you're going for, but I pair mine with white socks and sportswear or leather/denim, always look sharp as hell for a cheap shoe.

Pic related is essentially the base aesthetic I shoot for. Be aware, the break in time is quite brutal. Took mine around a month with maybe 6 or 7 miles on them to quit blistering my feet.

I was planning on just wearing tight black/dark blue jeans, only bottoms I really wear.
Cuff them or no cuff to let the jeans bunch up, which do you think looks better?
Also what about shorts with them, guessing no? I know about the break in time for 1460s - is it similar?

I kinda like these. But where to cop for not MSRP?

Also, how is their sizing? If i am size US 9.5 mens in Chucks, which run a size-1.5 size larger than most other shoes.

Nice. You need to cut that hair shorter though.

I'd let the jeans bunch up with these. Cuffing them could work if the jeans were really nice looking, but it typically looks terrible. That's just my opinion though.

I'd definitely wear them with shorts, probably 7" chinos or something. They'd just definitely need to be black.

What do you think about Timberland Earthquakers? I can't spend more than 100$ on shoes and I can cop a pair for 90 bucks.
