I've heard Dakine bags are good quality and have really great warranty (if a zipper fails they'll send a new one). I just want to find something that isn't too thick and can hold a couple uni things, such as a small laptop, a water bottle, and several duotangs*.

Literally just handouts/printouts and assignments in the folder.
Laptop is quite thin, most backpacks seem to have sufficient room.
Pencil case, calculator, i>Clicker, sporty earphone pouch, key fob.

Also assorted food items.
