backpack thread?

i'm starting a new job and will be commuting to work on my bike and i'm looking for a nice backpack that i can use to carry things such as shoes while on my bike. will probably be using it for more than commutes to and from work. i was thinking something like pic related because it's simple and they come in a variety of colors and materials. but i as also looking at sling backpacks.

Should I cop? Need a good bag for college next year capable of holding a 15" laptop. Also going on some trips over summer.

The only thing holding me back about this bag is that there is an endless list of timbuk2 laptop backpacks and idk if this is truly the best one out of them all for.its price

those are /fa/ as fuck but would the straps be ergonomic?
I use a burton metal head pack whenever I go hiking. its minimal padding makes it super ergonomic.

That Duluth pack has wide leather straps for your shoulders, I think. Pretty minimal, very high quality, and correspondingly expensive.

pls /fa/, it's not 1908, you don't want a retro canvas backpack, get something that wont ruin your back, and that you can get into quickly.
the 5.11 covert line has some nice stuff in it that rides the back beautifully.
