Show the stuff you made, you are working on or planning to do.

~~~
I'm about to cut parts out of the shirt to sew them onto the chinos.
Thoughts?
So I'm planning on making a street wear version of a shearling coat. I'm going to incorporate this material into it. It won't touch the body though, because it is rough and scratchy
I don't know yet, they are predestressed in a way it shows it was bought that way and I dont really like that, so I will cover those parts up first and see how i go on from there on.
For thread im most likely going with one of the two in the pic. I might also add parts of the ripped off pocket or the '1' patch.
Any details? I feel like linen would blend really well with that but I don't know how well it works as coat material, or at least you'd have to get some heavy duty stuff.
I recently made mandarin collar out of this button down I had, pretty simple shit, just cut the collar off cause there was a seam right under it and removed the buttons. Had to remove some loose threads that got left over too but I like the shirt lot more now.
get a big (preferably long, like a fish bin, or tall like a barrel) bucket and fill it with water and bleach (2 parts water, 1 part bleach) and steep for several hours.
You don't want them to fold or crease in any way because they'll just marble and spread them out as long as you can. Stir them around every once in a while.
When you take them out they might not seemed bleached at all but after washing them they'll be considerably paler
I have these jeans here I bought online.
I forgot about them in my closet and can't return them.
In the picture the spots weren't as dark as they are IRL.
Anyway to lighten the blue spots?
They fit my ass and legs quite well and they're kind of heavy so I'm looking forward to actually wearing them.
TLDR: HOW TO BLEACH OFF BLUE SPOTS? I want it to be as close to a singular color (light blue) as possible.
I think it will be very unlikely to have them somehow bleach to one solid color. The best course of action might just be to dunk them in bleach until they're white, if you can.
>> No.9912109
>>9909986
you can literally just sew two squares on each other while leaving one side unstitched so you can make a pocket, ofc, adding more pockets will need more squares and leather but a single leather pocket would do it
I think >>9911935 might be a good option, albeit with some caveats. I'm a fucking retard with clothing but all I know is (1) it's hard to get bleach to target spots well, and (2) just dunking shit in straight bleach or near-straight bleach will fucking ruin it. Have you considered getting some garment die and just nuking the jeans into some sort of color, even if it's just plain indigo?
Sakura Pen-Touch white 0.7mm extra fine point. I didn't pick it specifically for this purpose, it's just the one white permanent marker they had at the store.
Then I printed a full size picture of the star map with a grid on it. I drew the grid on the backpack as well with that fabric crayonlike stuff (I don't know the name for it), then copied the stars as well as I could and erased the crayon lines with water.
If you bleach them they won't get like that. Bleaching jeans completely gets them a kind of yellowy white colour. You could try re-dyeing but it might turn out splotchy. You could try stonewashing them yourself.
Umm I just took an image off google and drew a grid in photoshop. It really depends on what hemisphere and what part of the sky you want to draw, I can't decide that for you. You could print an image you like and draw a grid with a pencil and a ruler.
