I have one that cost me $20, and a $55 AA one. They are indistinguishable after a few cycles in the washing machine(AA was a lot softer to start off) EXCEPT the gildan one actually has a higher quality zipper.

I used to wear AA back when i was in high school. I own 2 reigning champ sweaters now, the ones in your pic as well as the pull over version.

The difference in quality is night and day. The zipper is infinitely more rugged, smooth and durable. The weight of the fabric is substantial. The cut of the sleeves and shoulders are excellent (regular cut front, raglan cut back) and the use of elasticated ribbing on each side for stretch is also great. Dozens of little details you would never be able to appreciate from photos alone.

Trust me, once you have an RC hoodie, the standard by which you'll buy sweaters will probably change forever.

I was wearing my RC black zip up today. Amazingly nice hoodie and also very comfortable. Definitely buy. Also, AA quality is shit for anything apart from tee shirts really.

Also, just a heads up that RC fits slim. I'm usually between a Medium and a small and a Medium fit me perfectly. If I'd gone a small it would be very tight around my shoulders.

Nah, uniqlo is pretty good. Not to mention aa's classic hoodie is miles better than their regular hoodie. Unless you have a decent income don't waste your money on rc sweats. Buy a slow juicer and some carrots instead
