Don't go all in, try to do it gradually. Start washing your hair with salty water or soda instead, gradually decrease the amounts of it, after a month or two you can go water only and your hair won't look like shit. Also comb your hair really well, like spend at least 10 minutes in the shower combing your hair.

You have to just deal with oily hair for a month then it balances out. The reason your hair becomes an oily mess is because you're stripping all the oil from it daily (especially if you're using a sulfate shampoo) so your body ups oil production to balance out for it. A good in between and what I do is conditioner only once or twice a week with a shampoo every 2 or 3 months. (Make sure you use a non-sulfate non silicone conditioner and a non-sulfate shampoo.)

Similar results to no-poo in my experience, I just like not having to spend 20 minutes every day in the shower cleaning each strand of hair with my fingers basically.

What cut/styling should I do? My left side really forced itself to the front while my right side moves to the back. I've tried slicking the left back but it just springs straight out instead.

I'd just showered in this pic hence the flat and wet look.

would like haircut recommendation as it looks like a fucking mop. top of hair is 6'', sides are at 1.5'', i've got a widows peak and am willing to shave the facial hair.

i've been parting it to the side with american crew pomade or fiber for years now and am growing tired of that, would ideally like to keep the medium length hair going on as I don't like short hair.

If that's your current hair I suggest growing the fringe out and having the sides pretty short. Also try to find out a combing pattern for your hair. Try combing it to the other side to see which one looks better.

What should I do to improve my hair? These photos have actually done it justice, it puffs out too much near my crown, especially on the right side.
Also my hair naturally has a bit of curl to it but it's difficult to manage and often comes out wiry and puffy so i keep it relatively straight.

I have flat and straight hair and am able to do this hairstyle.

The trick is to blow-dry your hair upwards after showering, and then apply some wax/pomade (less is more) to keep it in place. Maybe a reserved application of hairspray to add some strength.

I have no idea what to do with my hair.
For the past few years I have sort of had it a bit shorter than this length, parted to the left. Before that I had it parted to the right. I'm not sure which one of them is right.. At the moment, neither feels right I think.

I have always tried to have a bit of volume in the back of my head, because I feel I have a weird head shape.

I've been growing out my hair for quite a while and my beard is only like 2 or 3 weeks in and I'm letting my hair grow so I can do a samurai or just regular man bun with and the way I style my hair is by doing a side part and applying gel sometimes but it's starting to get kind of tedious and sometimes I don't know what to do cause my hair is thick and crazy at times that it makes me just want to go and get a buzz cut. Does anybody here have dry hair? I have straight, brown hair at medium length and I've been going no-poo for a while now, but my hair feels dry, a bit strand-y, and doesn't look very alive. Fuck fuck fuck this hair. I have it. I have short sides and long top. I cant buzz it because I dont have the head shape for it. I have to straighten my hair every day so its easier to style.
