I wash face just with water in the shower. the occasional pimple i get I just pop.

I keep my beard trimmed kinda close, if I let it get too long it gets thick and pubey and I look like a flight risk (thank you southern european genetics). I occasionally condition my facial hair as well as it helps it lay a bit flatter and straighter.

I used to do no poo and I had great sucess for the first month, more volume and just enough grease to lock up and hold without looking greasy or a lot of product. Eventually that somehow went away, my oil levels probably balanced out, and the hair went a lot limper like it was when I used shampoo. Now, I just use a coconut oil, sulfate-free conditioner every day. It ends up looking like a diluted version of my hair with fiber in it, but I almost want less hold so it can do its own thing. I can play with it all day and it holds more or less the same styling even after being outside on a windy day. I can go a few days pure no poo as well before I need to rinse really good and recondition to balance out the increasing amount of grease. If it helps, my hair is straight and thick, slightly wavy. I haven't had many knots or anything even when its long.

I use dr bronners peppermint bar soap for the skin. Its not an intensely strong scent; it's easily overpowered by deodorant. People say bar soap is shit for your skin but it did clear up my bacne and my skin is noticeably softer. I never use it on my face as it dries it out; maybe if I consistently used it on my face I would have better results but whatever.

if you can't grow a beard and don't shave you end up with pubes on your face. at least that has been my experience.

feels pretty bad I gotta tell ya.
