Normcore as in looking like a well dressed normie is still alive and well.
Grey sweatshirt, black jeans, and a mildly interesting pair of shoes (as long
as they're not in a saturated colorway) is a really solid uniform if you're not
looking to be noticed, but to hold up as not a bum or a faggot if someone
does notice you. Essentially, the goal of this is to try to remove fashion as
a factor in people's impression of you. Wearing clothes so normal that they
can't be interpreted in any way. It's like trying to become a human Volvo.

Nothing wrong with any individual pieces of the stereotypical normcore outfit, just that all of them together is a bit much. There's a different between inspo photos and what you should actually wear, but some of these autists don't understand that they are the mazda3, inspired by the concept car, but not actually a copy of it. Someone driving this around town is fedora tier, in the same way that wearing these stupid costumes is fedora tier.
