no-poo or drastically reduce shampoo usage
condition more often
rinse hair with cold water
air-dry it instead of towel-drying it
apply product when damp

As far as haircuts go, let it grow longer on top, and keep it shorter on sides and back, you know, the usual. Not a big fan of shaving the sides and back though, i think trimming and blending it makes it look better for curly hair

Alright im gunna drop some facts

You're not gunna get curly hair unless your perm it or some shit. Hair types eg. straight, wavy, curly, coiled are from the size of the follicle holes circle, semi-oval, oval, flat respectively. Folic acid, b12, iron, biotin will all help in the growth of new hair but won't do anything for the existing stuff. Viviscal while expensive is essentially all these nutrients in one easy package. For the hair already on your head cut split ends off to stimulate growth, don't fall for the kreatine infused bullshit shampoo, its not a water soluble. best shampoos don't have excess lather and bubbles as the chemical to produce that lather is the same they use in car wash and was only put in there so people could see it 'working', Massage your head to stimulate blood and help follicle growth. Avoid obvious stresses like excessive washing, blow drying, towel drying, straightening, dyeing, trying it in a bun or having stressful hairstyles. Other than that keep as stress free as you can, hormones released during stress shut down hair and nail production to save energy for a crisis period.
