I'm divorced and feel damn good about it. Although my friends at work are "dude bro u need a g/f , u need 2 get laid" or " you just have to find a sweet woman to take care of you". It kinda pisses me off and I'm worried about getting defensive about that because they might start spreading gay rumors.

However if were to tell them about the porn I view they would be all "haha you sure jack off a lot dontcha you masturbating beta loser. LOL only betas look at pr0n and jack-off hurrdur".

I'm divorced and happy by myself. I've seen guys in relationships with pretty girls where they get treated like monkeys on a leash and put up with that crap because of the sex and the "so alpha" status. Or guys who are stuck with gross looking girls or landwhales because the thought of loneliness is too scary to them. Or worse, really desperate losers who become bi just to stick it in some flesh. If those are my options in this life then I think I'm better off by myself.

Continuing from what I posted;

I'm in my 30s right now and don't make much but I still view /fa/ and get inspo because I like looking good and I like the the feeling of building up a good wardrobe with the little money I make. I still care about how I look because I respect myself. I don't have to do it to please a specific person. It's a healthy mindset.

However I'm also aware that at my age and income I don't have many options in the dating scene but I'm also aware that lowering your standards just to be with an unattractive or miserable person is a terrible idea.I don't need to get laid that bad. I'm not desperate.

And as for this "u need a woman 2 care of u" BS that my friends go on about well, I'm a grown man. I can take of myself, thank you.
