Now lets get this started, i definitely need to cut my hair because it has gotten quite long.
I was thinking about either going buzzcut or hitleryouth, but feel free to make any differing suggestions! I would like to have ahaircut that is easy to care for and is not too bad or "in the way" when doing sports.
Pic related, sorry for the bad lightning, which makes my hair appear darker than it really is, and general faggyness of the pic, also this is not a fit of mine but my sleeping clothing, just to avoid confusion and slurs.

Really unsure what to do with my hair. I can't grow it much longer than this because regulations, I've tried no poo, and I've tried conditioner, and it stays frizzy, and the front is always curly. And I can't find a pomade that works.

Any advice?

Also, for the purposes of this pic, I didn't fix it or put any product in it, I simply combed it.

How do I use hair products? I've gone my whole life without putting it in my hair except for when the barber asks me if I want some, now I'm trying a few different gels and waxes but they all make me look like someone from a generic early noughties pop punk band. Am I using too much? On a sidenote, is there a difference between gels and waxes?

pomades look slick and greasy

haven't touched hair-gel since i was a little kid and i wouldn't recommend it. you're probably overestimating exactly how much you need, just take a dab of wax/clay and work it into your hair. look up styling vids on youtube and just get some practice in

wax/gum and a hairdryer is your friend. just get your hairs wet, dry it a little bit with towel. apply gum, blow it with your hairdryer, while making the general shape of it, then use a little bit of wax or gum to shape it to perfection. ez pz. it really depends how thick it is so it doesnt look like horses mane.

The barber is a friend of mine and kinda gets what I'm going for. He cuts hair professionally from bumble and bumble.
What I told him was that I wanted it to be long and ratty and disgusting in the back, short on the sides, like an undercut, and longer on the top, but of "normal" length.
Like a wide mohawk that's over grown in the back and combed traditionally in the front.
It's really suppose to maximize the "business" in front and the "fuck you" in the back

This last time, I didn't want the strong undercut and to minimize the undercut, but he kinda went for it anyways.

mull is also aesthetically attractive. it calls to mind ancient warriors, sort of like a mohawk but less in your face with it. fearsome and warlike all the same.

while the short front keeps your hair out of your face, the length in the back is vis from the front, framing and flattering the face, esp jaw. once you get passed what silly social meaning we've given it, it's just a beautiful looking haircut.

That aside, definitely cut the sides a bit more, and don't brush it as much. While you might have more static-y hairs all over the place, the messier look works better with this kind of hair. Otherwise it risks looking very flat and dead by the end of the day.

Also, don't push the hair on your right side forward like that. It might look good in the pictures, but you'll never be able to manage on even a slightly windy day. Just keep it down.
