outside scotland - no, never.

inside scotland, we only use it as a novelty as rugby/football matches or as a dinner suit alternative at black tie events.

it's just too much of a symbol to be worn anywhere else. it would be like trying to pull off a kevlar vest or something, it just would never, ever work.
