It depends I guess... Let it grow for about a year and a half. Wash it once every two weeks, condition once or twice a week. Eat well. And only touch it to separate some curls/dreads from each other or massage your scalp.

best way is to just let it grow and texturize if needed

comb it in the shower with conditioner and literally head bang to dry your hair. don't use a towel or your hands to mess with it afterwards. seriously don't touch your hair or comb it or finger comb while it's drying or you'll pull the curls out

use a leave in or a moisturizer that come in spray bottles so you won't have to touch your hair

same here. i mean it's not always necessary to trash around and break ya neck trying to dry your hair

you can shake it out with your hand when it's still soaked but it doesn't get as much water out

My hairline sucks and I have 4C hair. My hairlines been way far back since I was a baby, but I somewhat grew out of it. It's still really bad though

My question is, can you pull off an Afro with a 5+ head and the happiest hair possible if you're a woman

>> No.9764612

>>9764253
Unfortunately you can't. You just have to stick it out or rock headwear for a few months. It's only temporary you'll make it!

>>9764570
I have 4c/combination hair and my hairline is awful. My temples have receded and thinned out significantly. BUT the longer my hair gets, the less noticeable it is. It's pretty easy to hide. I just have to make sure my hair looks as good as possible at all times... which can be a pain because 4c hair does whatever it wants some days

Shedding is inevitable but too much can be bad. Also know the difference between shedding and breakage.
If your hair isn't coming out from the root then you probably just need to moisturizer

It is. More so when it's wet but since it's so dense and heavy it gradually ends up falling

That's kind of the look I'm going for right now except with more length in the back. A couple months ago I got the back trimmed and I regret that so much now. But I'm making progress again

Some people grow hair fast, some people grow hair slow. Like all the other "races".

My hair tends to grow on the faster side.

How do I stop having dandruff?
I vigorously comb to the scalp everyday and use anti-dandruff shampoo, but junk still stays around. Should I just shave off all my hair and then rub the skin until all flaking skin comes off?

Banding/threading.

If you stretch the texture will get looser no matter what but yeah best no heat option available.
