/fa/ I have no fashion sense but I have a problem with jeans. I'm a holocaust mode manlet and wear a 30x30 jean size.

However, I have a problem where it always seems like the legholes of the jeans are fucking huge. I buy cheap jeans because I do not want to spend 40,50,60 dollars on jeans and I don't know if that's why or not, but I just want to know if it's typically normal for "regular fit" jeans to have big legholes or if it's just because I buy cheap jeans

I should probably wear skinny jeans but I've tried before and they crush my junk

Does that size actually fit you or is that just what you've always worn. Though having your jeans tapered/tailored is probably the easiest option, you might want to consider that you might actually be a smaller waist size and that the too-big size is contributing to the roomier fit that you don't want.

>> No.9761657

>>9761634
Well maybe I shouldn't use the word 'normal' in that situation. I just meant that there isn't a problem with his weight.

>> No.9761679

Don't expect to pay $20 for straight leg jeans and expect them to have small leg openings. $60 is very cheap, that's literally a pair of levis. Spend the money, buy some levis 511, 522, 513 which ever ones sound best. Also actually measure your waist. if you are actually 120 it's unlikely that you are actually a 30.

>> No.9761680

>>9761647
i think my problem is that even though i am holocaust mode i have female hips (not like wide and shit, just wider than my emaciated upper body) so the 30s do fit me.

i just dont get why the legholes are as big as they are. like, a 30x30 person is obviously fucking skinny, but the legholes are like the size of someone with tree trunk lower legs, like their lower leg is the same size as their thigh.

>>9761631

The legs are wide because you want a low price point for your jeans, which means the company making them has to spend less time/money on a fit and just use a pattern that's easy to sew and fits a large variety of people, including people who have a more average build/weight than you do.

You can't complain that you aren't getting good design if you consciously make a choice to not pay for good design. Not saying you have to spend $400 on something from Self Edge, but it's pretty self-evident that if you want to spend $9 on a meal, you won't be getting a porterhouse steak.

Also you don't need to have 7 pairs of jeans. 2-3 is plenty. Just wear them more before washing them. You can go awhile without washing jeans. It's not a t shirt, that absorbs an oder so quickly.

It's not about the cost, but the thought that determines style. That said, something like a nice pair of leather boots or a well-made jacket could cost hundreds and be most of the "value" while you're just wearing tees and jeans.

Don't worry about how other people spend their money and focus on what makes the most sense for your taste, lifestyle, and budget.

That's a function of what you expect out of your jeans and what you're willing to pay. One person may demand the sort of fit and feel you get from a Dior Homme or Saint Laurent jean, while somebody else wants something rugged like a Sugarcane, while another person wants something that they can purchase in a ton of washes like Cheap Monday.
