So my hair is sort of thinning. Its not obvious but it has lost most of its natural volume. What sort of cut should I get in light of this?

How old are you? (I'm assuming 18-25, otherwise you wouldn't be here.)

If it's thinning all over the top of your head at the same time (like Prince William) then your only haircut route is to shave. If it's receding (like Jude Law) then you've still got options.

There's always transplants or Rogaine, etc.

On the plus side, though, a good set of clippers will cost you a lot less than haircuts every three weeks do.

it just has no volume. It still has good coverage. At the rate it is going I think it will last another 2-3 years like this. I just want a style that suits hair without volume. There is some slight receding.

I'm 29 and I'm bald now. I started going bald in college, thinning all over.
There simply is no hairstyle that looks good with hair without volume. Long hair looks ratty, short hair makes your thinning hair obvious to a hilarious degree. In either case, people will notice and judge you harshly.

Seriously, buy a Costco-size pack of razor blades and pray you don't have goofy ears or a pack of hot dogs on the back of your neck.

If you want to keep it a secret, take up competitive swimming.

For the last fucking time, I have virtually no body fat. Those are pecs from having virtually no body fat and even the slightest amount of muscle creates definition. I am basically hungry skeleton mode. Which isn't exactly a great look either but I'm working on it.
