What's up with the cop/not culture on this board?

If i go to /mu/, I won't see musicians asking if they should incorporate certain things in their music. It's naturally part of their style to do a certain thing. There's no questioning or doubt. /mu/ is a completely shit board, but yeah.

Why do I see people here constantly questioning their own taste, and more often than not being given generic, shitty advice that will make them look like the brisbane meetup?

some people need the help, they cant tell if its shit or not. they realize they haven't developed taste in the traditional sense yet. it's not the same as music

Head on back to /mu/ friend. And to answer your question I post in the cop or not but I take the answers with a grain of salt. I consider their analysis and make my own choice. Now fuck off newfag.

Your argument makes basically no sense. I don't see how artists and their music are related to fashion for most people on /fa/. It isn't their passion or their living to dress up, it's something everyone has to do everyday. People with slightly more interest in what they put on everyday might end up here.

Most people are inherently insecure or unsure of decisions, especially when it comes to spending money. There is a reason why advertising exists.

A better question would be: do musical artists argue over what equipment to buy/use? Yeah, they probably do. Style of instruments and brands.

I'm only using /mu/ as an example.

Clothings have fakes, overpriced, material quality, etc. But yeah some people seek advices too and nothing strange.

Because sometimes you make an impulse purchase which ends up bein irrational so yeah...
Sometimes it's better to look at a few opinions and then decide. I don't see anything bad with it tbh.

Fashion and music isnf even comparable.
Music is somthing for yourself, you listen to the music and you could not to share it with others.
Fashion on the other hand is all about expressing yourself.
Everybody can see what dessision you made in what to wear.
This, plus the 'investments' you have to make, does make /fa/ a insecure bunch of people.

The way you dress yourself matters more to others than your shit taste in music
