>All you cucks have to do is get a job..

Maybe it's that easy when you live with your parents, you fucking idiot. Otherwise you have to pay bills and rent and make car payments and insurance payments and buy food and household items and actually be a fucking adult

>> No.9705137

The sad thing is, I sold about $400 worth of clothes and I got a job for the sole purpose of buying Rick shoes. Now that I finally have enough my poorfag mentality is making me ask myself if it's really worth it.

I just want some fuckin' Geos man

While those are good looking reps, they still look cheap and plasticky. Especially considering they're asking for $200, why not just save up the rest of the money, at least for used ones?

Confirmed for never working anything more than a part time job. I'm not that guy but I'm 18 right now still living at home and to pay for my Shit (gas, takeout, clothes, I have to work factory job. I get a decent paycheck about $700 a paycheck around $800 if we work Saturdays
Money isn't the issue. I don't even pay rent or the insurance for my car but i have realized the value of a dollar and don't waste it on stupid shit like $500 dollar shoes that I will only wear on weekends to impress people who I couldn't care less about

I would rather save it

The point I was trying to make is that even though I have no real expenses and have some money to blow I don't because when you work a real job you don't just throw away the Shit you spent your whole week earning on some thing so stupid

Listen dude

Buy that shit. If you want them, get them. I just had a kid. He is five months. I haven't been able to buy shit in over a year preparing to have enough for him. My clothing is all falling apart and I can't even come close to affording anything new. If you don't have kids, just buy what you want dude. I don't even like Geo's and I want you to have a pair. Just do it man.

you spend all your money on gas and takeout, thats so stupid. buy groceries and make your own food, ride the bus or bicycle instead.

I liked it better when how much money somebody has or doesn't have wasn't the point of discussions.

What works for you may not work for the majority of people. In fact, it is probably a defining character of your uniqness as a person. We are currently experiencing a time where making and having money is a legitimate measure of success in life, where as previously other factors were more taken into account. It is a bummer that things like inner peace, family and love aren't held in as high of esteem as having a fat wallet, but it is better to silently acknowledge a fact and internally disagree than to add a negative and non contributing comment to a discussion.

Remember, nothing is more fashionable than a positive mental attitud coupled with a hands on approach. Follow this advice and success, no matter how you measure it, will surely follow.

personally i buy expensive clothing because i enjoy high quality things in general.

it's about being able to enjoy the work or creativity that was put into a garment, rather than just tolerating up with a piece of uninspired clothing simply because you need something on your back.

no one said anything about wearing expensive clothing to impress people, that sounds like a personal problem. most of my expensive clothes are basic pieces anyway, i don't expect people do be impressed by them. if that's why you're here, you might want to reconsider fashion as an interest.

That's what I thought a year ago when I thought Geos looked like shit and I was into that whole "techno interests me/sweater and derbies" phase. I was actually gonna cop Postmans but stopped myself. I realized Geos would fit my wardrobe a lot better. Trust me, I've put a lot of thought into this.

You should consider he may not live under the same social conditions as you(in a first world country)?

Not even sure why people make such a huge deal about spending lots on clothes anyways

1k for a pair of shoes really isn't that much considering how much some people spend on houses, cars, boats etc.

obviously it's apples to oranges but still, different people have different priorities

>> No.9705962

It's kinda funny that you'll see more discussion on trying to "justify" designer clothing on here than actual discussion on the products themselves

and people get so pissed off about other peoples consumption habits lmao
