So a while ago someone posted this in a hair general thread but I didn't get a chance to respond cause I was on clover and the captcha sucked.

Anybody know how to go about growing hair to style it this way or any better pictures?

I had my hair exactly like this until about 3 months ago when I buzzed my hair like much of /Fa/
I attempted to use several different hair products to achieve the flowing, cascading look of this hairstyle, but none really succeeded
Until one day, whilst watching There's Something About Marry I thought of the brilliant idea of using my own semen to achieve the look of pic related
Basically as long as you don't mind the smell of cum, I recommend semen to achieve the look of that hairstyle

pic related is me, what I did is I let my top grow for a long time and I got my sides buzzed to a 2 twice in about 6 months. Unfortunately, my hair isn't naturally like this. It only gets this wavy after I put it in a knot for a few hours. I'm still looking for a type of product to get my hair wavy. I've tried sea salt spray but it only worked a little bit.

You might wanna a combination of argan oil sea salt and no poo. I've got short hair but it looks like it's similar to yours, and when I use a tiny bit of oil and sea salt spray it gets some nice waves. Great hair though man! You might also want to check out that guy from BeardBrand's hair videos. He's got a similar thing going on.

I've got very similar hair to this hair paragon, around the same length too except his cut is a bit wider than mine. I'd honestly say that's ~16 months growth unless your hair grows at a very fast pace.

The second pic is easily obtainable in half though, maybe even less time than that.
