What the hell do you do with a hairline like this?

My hair is only 1 1/4" right now and sticks straight out of my head like a fucking fuzz ball so I can never get it to lay down until its much longer

Yo quick question, just in case someone has had to deal with this

When I had short hair, I had dandruff. No big deal, used anti-dandruff shampoo, most of it went away. Then when I started growing my hair long, I started doing no-poo and magically my dandruff completely disappeared. It is now almost 2 years later and out of fucking nowhere I've got nasty as dandruff, which is super visible when I tie up my hair for work. I have changed literally nothing in my routine (wash hair with conditioner every 1-2 days and never ever shampoo) but suddenly it went to hell. Any ideas on what might be going on and how I can fix it?

If I remember correctly, I think it was a 4 on the sides and the top was cut to be just above my eyebrows. Hair's sort of thin, but not entirely.

I desperately need a product recommendation for my shitmop. It feels really soft, but it's very dry and thin, even a bit "coarse." It has been my whole life.

I've been no-poo for 2 months, using a good conditioner ~twice a week, usually after hockey games.

I just started putting a bit of coconut oil through it at night and rinsing it out in the morning.

Is there any product that will help it look less dry and create a decent medium hold? Money really isn't a factor, whatever works.

I also wondered if colouring it would make it less thin and frizzy. What colour would suit me? - I have no problems adjusting my wardrobe to my hair color if necessary. Anything else I have to keep in mind? How often do you have to recolor your hair?
