I basically just throw pieces together, but as it stands I've only got three pairs of pants (olive skinny trousers, navy slim chinos and skinny grey twill pants,) two/three shirts (white, light blue, navy/white striped) and two pairs of shoes (white CPs, and dark brown boots.) What's the best way to learn how to dress myself? I feel like I'm at a crossroads where individual pieces don't mesh with the style of what I have available. Two of my shirts are OCBDs and one is a cotton poplin shirt. I'm stuck somewhere between what I imagine as traditional 'menswear' and trying to be simple. I have no clue what kind of look I'm aiming for. I feel like the way I dress is jarring compared to how I present myself, and how I look; it feels like there's a sense of incongruity between my clothing and my person.
