Do Uniqlo not understand human proportions?
Bought 2 t-shirts and one long sleeve today and they're all boxy as fuck.
I have a small torso and long arms but the arms on all of them are huge and they're way too short, what gives?

maybe it's you who's deformed and not them

Nah, I bought 2 shirts in the US and they fit great. Then I decided to give it a go here in Australia...

>> No.9679745

So should I try stretching them or return them? Got a feeling they have a strict return policy.

Japanese proportions, anon.

I already considered this but man Japanese people do not have proportions that different.

Just didn't think the fits would differ this much in a different country.
Also Uniqlo is known for having slimmer fitting clothing anyway.

Their t'shirts are nice, but they are cut for manlets

Small is way too fucking short.

I buy my tees at H&M now. Not too boxy, not too slim, and long enough in a size small to cover my belt

Do you think I should return or try to stretch them? Their cotton is reasonably pliable but idk it might be worth the hassle to get my money back even if I feel like a dick.

>> No.9680107

>>9680096
Honestly, just return them. You'd probably have to stretch them out every time after washing anyways

>> No.9680117

>>9680107
Do you know what returning stuff there's like? They seem really strict about it, like they'd only accept if you had a legitimately good reason.

>> No.9680118

>>9680096

Why would you feel like a dick? Did you go jogging in the shirts? Did you wash and dry them? If not, their return policy is the same as everywhere else. Unworn, unwashed items are returnable. Thats the whole point of shopping online. Stretching clothes are never the way to get a proper fit. Are you autistic?

Ah let me explain, when I bought them yesterday, the person next to me was in some heated debate with the cashier trying to return shit. I've always had pretty bad social awkwardness and the store is super busy from open to close.
Also I've had success stretching shirts before, I did it gently and gradually and now they fit well.

>> No.9680142

be careful with the fucking linen cotton shirts, they're huge as shit and I ended up having to return all of them, without the tags though because my pops threw them out. anyone have an idea whether or not they accept returns without the tags?

>> No.9680156

>>9680117
Pretty sure you can return for any reason. I think it's on the receipt. Not fitting is definitely a good reason. You can't return stuff that came in packaging (dry shirts, airism shirts, etc.).

They also have different fits depending on the shirts you get. The supima ones fits me weird but the dry shirts have good fit for me.

Then keep your shitty clothes you fucking child. Obviously you have the money to blow. Enjoy it.

I have one of their "Pure Blue Japan" series shirts and it fits fucking perfect and never shrank. But, it was more expensive than their normal t-shirts which I have never tried yet. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if the fit and shrinking tendencies will be different on their other t-shirts? Anyone out their have both and can compare them for me?

I don't actually, I'm poor as fuck hence why I'm so salty about buyer's remorse.

Return them, be quick and polite. If the person gives you shit, just be adamant. No point in keeping something you don't want if you have receipts and tags.

Seriously though the proportions on the Uniqlo shirts is weird. I bought size M and they fit perfectly but I've ordered shirts in size L and they've been way too big. I just always check the measurements.

>> No.9681335

I was able to return plenty of stuff with ease. They didn't even ask for the receipt the one time.

>> No.9681371

uniqlo's stuff is always too narrow in the shoulders, too wide in the waist, and too long in the arms for me with jap proportions

I cannot into long-sleeved shirts & sweaters for this reason. Every time I try them on, from whatever store, the sleeves are always fucking loooooooooooooooooooooong as shit. Who has arms this long? Where are these orangutan motherfuckers?

>> No.9682095

Do Uniqlo's sock pricings go by pairs or per sock?

>> No.9682246

For all those wondering about Uniqlo's return policy, you can return anything with tags and receipt within 30 days for a full refund. If you have no receipt or pass the 30 day mark you will receive a merchandise return card which is basically a gift card for the current selling price of the item. So just hope it's not on sale or on promo when you return it. I work at uniqlo so i know the deal.

>> No.9682511

There's some that go for 3 pairs for a price. And there's some that go for per pair.

Yet I have the opposite problem. Either I roll my sleeves up and have a sweater that fits, or I need an XL to fit my arms and the whole body is baggy af.

they sell per sock
