so we still have overcoats, i think it's too formal to happen. M-65 is a candidate but i don't think that'll take off either. macintosh perhaps, but that seems a little too old. biker/perfecto already seems played. there will definitely be a memejacket to replace what the bomber is now, but i cant see what

not nearly as popular as bombers. that's why i said 'memejacket.' overcoat isn't there yet. not sure what kind of objective measures we could compare. i looked up 'bomber' on farfetch, 495 results. single-breasted coat turns up a whopping 70s results. even if you scale up to just the 'coats' category, you still only have 273 items, and even just glancing at the results few of them are overcoats like the ones we are thinking of, lots of trenches and parkas
