I think Americunts are heading into summer so most users aren't concerned with dressing for futuristic rainstorms.

I'm still really into the style - but I tone it down with more general streetwear.

Next cop will hopefully be these goretex asics.

I just started getting into techwear. I have a pair of old triple black qasa's, looking for some pants and a shell atm.
I'm gonna save up for an acronym shell.
What pants should I get to wear through the rest of spring and then through AW? I've been looking at Isaora but I've heard their products are overpriced for the quality. I want something with a tappered fit that'll keep me nice and dry that I can wear with qasas.

True. I like techwear but functionality has to be the first priority.

ie not wearing big black coats when it's warm outside. Not wearing tiny woven runners in wet weather. Not buying expensive tech-looking backpacks that doesn't function any better than a normal canvas book bag.

Facemasks are cool but only in conditions that require them - or on runways.

What are good "business casual tech" wear apart form outlier?

I'm looking pants and shirts that look good in an office environment, but that are also:

- quick drying
- no ironing necessary
- Warm or cool depending on season (Montrealer here, our extremes go from humid 35C to -40C).
- a bit of stretching is always good.
- stain resistant and water proof/resistant...

Is that too much to ask for? Is outlier my only choice?

Crashed my bike a few weeks back (construction crew didn't mark the fresh concrete at the bottom of a hill) and tore up one of my favorite shirts

If you don't mind skimping out on some functionality you might wanna change some of the pieces. Maybe get some damir or bbs simple tees to make it a bit more interesting. Or play with the shoes.

My summer "uniform" for going to and from places is pretty much a pair of isaora joggers, a black tee, triple black qasas and a bagjack messenger with a nice warm up sweater inside in case it gets a bit colder during the night.

Today it was 78 F with shitty humidity which made it a bit hard to breathe.

Thanks.

Shoes are ACG I-95's.
Pants are a sample from Nike: water resistant 100% poly, tapered with zippers at the hems.

It's really hard for me to put up 700-1000 $ on an acronym shell but these have always been my grails.
Particularly the J1A-S. I'm thinking about just getting a cheap decent looking parka off retail like zara and adding in the little leather sleeve detail Errolson puts on a few of his jackets aswell as replacing the zippers, like pic related, which I love. Maybe even a strap system which seems fairly simple.
Should I go through with this? The right parka is about 80€ (zara) and it's waterproof and windproof, has a back vest but no warm lining so I'll be wearing this through spring summer, I'm thinking about just taking this to a seamstress so I won't fuck it up myself.

Save up for the real thing, man. It's bad enough Zara copies from brands, you don't need to insult Errolson and the crew at ACR by putting on a signature leather part with something from Zara. In the end it's never gonna be the product you want, just save up for it slowly and wait for a new drop or a second hand

I got a pair for free but the colorway is terrible. Black shoe with silver swoosh and a blue/neongreen sole. They are however so comfortable that I can't help myself but wear them once in a white. Like just now 15 minutes ago.

I'd love an all black version.

of course, that's performance engineered hard shell

checking out otte gear's site, they're actually marketed towards paramilitary or security types so that's just about as tech as you can get

Just starting to build a techwear wardrobe. This is sort of my initial plan / shopping list. Build up some basics and then work on saving for a nice acronym shell. Also thank you to the anon whose sik fit convinced me to cop the aeroloft vest.

Nike sfb, but these have the front zipper thing that makes them easier to take off / put on. You can go to a seamstress and have them make one of these for you though

I've been doing the same thing, I'm starting with the basics;

Finisterre merino shirts: most inexpensive shirts I could find, they're also pretty nice and not in gaudy colours or patterns

Uniqlo airism underwear: smooth and light and also not crazy expensive

Finisterre and John Smedley Merino socks: Finisterre ones for normal use, John Smedley ones for formal use (I have to wear a uniform on fridays)

All I need now is a decent pair of trousers, I'm thinking Mission Workshop Signals, and a light jacket and shell. No idea about those. Maybe Mission Workshop again or possibly Black Diamond.

Atm I have a pair of all black qasas. One pair of legacy joggers I'm wearing on and off with a pair of old zara joggers which I surprisingly found to be waterproof and really confortable ( for like 40eur lol).
I have a few basics I'm going to slowly replace with merino shirts, going to just buy a white and black tee and then if I enjoy them I'll eventually replace everything.

Right now my plan is: aeroloft vest>compression shirt> one more pair of joggers ( or even bermudas for hotter days ) > ( end of SS shopping start of FW ) > Nike Sfb > warmer merino long sleeves > save up for ACR shell while wearing an old really warm black parka in the meanwhile, if I thing I really need to I'll cop some milsurp ecwcs to wear off ebay and another pair of boots (jump boots)
