i fantasize about people buying normal jackets

you know, just your normal jacket

windbreaker type or whatever, northface, columbia, whichever kind

i imagine them looking around the coat rack, finding one that looks normal

not fashionable or colorful, just kind of function; normal

they kind of smile at it, thinking they've finally found one they like

but they don't really like it, they just accept its normalness

and then they try it on, and it fits, and it's within their price range

it's just a normal jacket

they make an indifferent "hmm…" to themselves, and shrug their shoulders

they show it to their friend or significant other, who then says "oh i like that one"

they don't really like it, they just accept it because it's a normal jacket that fits, and doesn't stand out or look bad

anybody else think about this type of thing?

i can't imagine what some people are thinking when they buy some of the clothes they buy
