Yeah the good thing is you get lots of space inside, I've managed to carry my design equipment, laptop, camera, mic, multiple books and sketchbooks, laptop and gym kit with plenty of room left. But your right the straps dig into you after a while and now that I'm looking at the pictures in detail when I compare the one I've got to their website it looks as if they have changed the straps from a chunky canvas design to a very thin nylon strap.
