Save a lot of money, looks decent, no miscommunications with the barber.

Although if you can find a barber that will cut it just like you want, and don't mind the money, then go to the barber, as you can't have a barber's touch and expertise by cutting your own hair once every couple months.

I use a clipper to keep the sides of my hair short. Shit can get messy otherwise.

I have a buzzcut so I just shave it myself. Still have to go to the barbers every other time though as I haven't got the hang of edging

I cut my own hair. Undercut style so it's super simple. Guard 2 all the way around, once a week so so. Save bunch of money and time.
