I would say bow tie works with jeans but never a tie. Consider the following:
>Bowtie and Chinos
>Navy Blue blazer, open shirt, pocket square, tight jeans
>tan grained blazer, open light blue shirt, dark jeans, pocket square
>Red shirt, skinny black tie, black skinny jeans
>Pastel shirt, nice matched bowtie, tan chinos

Just for fucks sake, do not wear black tie, jeams, white shirt. You will look like a 12 year old at school concert.

Also I know people shit on H & M but you can pick out something that looks decent for maybe 120 euro, just get a navy blue blazer, light blue shirt (even a white T would be OK if it was decent), dotted pocket square, and khaki colored chinos and you're golden.
