The bass sounds good, but theres not too much extra of it.

I do not reccomend the m40s, or anything below the 50s on that matter.

Used from ebay or headfi classifieds M50s can be as low as $65 , the m50x will cost you a lot more-havent heard it myself but reviews say not too much change in sound quality, so youd paying about $40 for a removable cable.

IMHO m-50s are reccomended mostly for their usability - (relativley) comfortable, over ear, folds up traveleasy, long cable, closed headphone (doesnt leak or let sound in).

v-moda m80 sounds far better (for bassy music) , goes for about $80 new nowadays. Doesnt have any of above quirks though.

I don't know, I guess its just the habit of being a gamer and always buying new systems and games even though I rarely play them nowadays. I only play once or twice a week for no more than three hours and on my PC.

I kinda want a PS4 to play with friends but I know its going to be wasted money. Last game I bought was Halo 4, played multiplayer for 4 hours and never touched it again.

They are neat. Very well made. Blows cps out of the water. Paying less than stan smiths for them is just ridiculous. Only downside is that they are really susceptible to dirt and grime. Other than that marvelous.

Bout the rafidas. I don't know mate. I'm really not actively pursuing them. If they come across my way for a decent price i might pick them up. Don't think i'm down for paying full retail. Rafidas is getting out of hand.

Also Ebay is nice to build up a bit of dedicated traffic. Returning customers and the like. However it's slippery slope, getting fucked over lurks around every corner and you really need to get familiar with it's workings. I don't bother with new launches anymore, that's not the type of reselling i'd like to do. Got a lot of stock and working on my own website. Should be up within a week. Mind you, Ebays greedy fingers nearly take 20% of the pie.

Basically a bit more free material and stuff to look at. To give people a more detailed look into items, even if they aren't going to buy anything. For instance those moto boots. You'd be hard pressed to even find a decent image of them.

You'd be wrong to guess that by the way. Understandable mistake but i rarely get anything from there except the odd tidbit. Can't give you anymore advice than this i'm afraid, and i don't think anyone else would be willing to teach you. I own m50s (straight cable)... I did a removable cable mod before they had the m50x, but if you don't want to do the mod yourself I recommend the x. It's a freakin LONG cord if you want to use it anywhere you're not sitting down. 10 feet. Other than that, I WHOLLY recommend them. Best headphones I've ever used. Can get a little hot, but don't fall for the disgusting over-bassy sound of the other headphones........ producers already overdo the bass in the mixing.
