I have pretty hardcore dandruff caused by psoriasis. Even using medicated shampoo to get rid of flakes inflames my scalp and kicks the dandruff into overdrive.

I've been on no-poo for about two years. I rinse my hair every night and condition my hair twice a week with a one part water/two part apple cider vinegar mix. My hair looks pretty legit, no flakes and stays slightly oily enough that I can style it without product.

After showering, put any kind of matte clay or putty into your hair whilst still wet, a small wad will do. Blowdry whilst continuously working the hair up and over, works best when the hairdryer is at a medium heat and top speed. I usually dry the back and sides first and work up to the top, takes about 10-15 minutes because my hair is so annoyingly thick and absorbs water.

It doesn't look like you'll start growing hair in areas where there isn't already hair. Your cheeks may fill in more and your mustache might connect to your beard better but it won't go any higher than it already is. Idk your genetics could be different. Try lining up the to make it look thicker. Sharper lines always make it look thicker. Maybe taper it too. Sideburns grow in thicker than the rest. Cut them shorter and taper them into the rest of your beard.

When I washed my hair, i'd push it all back and tie up the top and just let it naturally dry. I might need to push the sides back during the day but they generally stayed in place.
