Where do you guys cop your jeans at? I've been needing a new pair for awhile and don't know where I can get a decent pair for a low price. (pic related)

Uniqlo has some pretty nice jeans. You can always buy an all right pair and get them tailored. Honestly though, it's best to save up and invest in a nice pair.

tbh most of the shit that i like i found at skater shops. the pieces that sell out are mostly things that have huge fucking logos on them so the simple basic pieces are really cheap. i got a pair of basic black pants (with elastane so they're really comfy) that i really love from a store called Below the Belt. It's basically a mall tier skater shop thats a little more higher up than Journeys/Zumiez.

people can name drop all they want but if it doesnt fit you it doesnt fit you.

i've never been to a tailor. can you explain the process to me how you get the tailor to have your clothes fit you? i'm gonna to one soon and i want some knowledge before i make an idiot out of myself

I'm assuming they do the same shit I do at home. Either you tell them exact corrections like how much inches off, what parts to taper or you wear em and show them how it needs to be tailored. I just use a sewing machine and if you're doing tailoring for selvedge denim, you might need to find a better tailor than the regular one if you want to keep the selvedge hem

Post a fit of them please. I have one like 5 minutes away but everywhere else is just so out of the way.

hes shitposting

cotton on is garbage and falls apart after 2 washes
same goes for factorie which is owned by cotton on

>>9404217
i want 511's or 510's because my current jean selection is pre-fa and garbage
the only ones with a decent fit are probably 4 years old and are lightly beaten up
theyre a slatey color

>> No.9404977

I usually just wear 511s.

you basically just
go to a tailor
and tell him how you want them to fit

or you invest in some quality jeans

Are there any jean that are skinny but leave a little bit more space for the calves? I'm pretty skinny (5'8'', 125 lb), but have slightly bigger calves and I usually buy Pac-Sun's skinnys but they seem to not last for 2-3+ years. From what I've tried Levis 511 are way too baggy for me, and I've heard that the quality of 510s are pretty bad and that there are sizing issues of some sorts.
But do these usually last a long time? I don't want to wear uber tight skinnies, but enough to bag around and be comfortable enough for me to walk comfortably without my calves and thighs swelling.

A good price would be good. Maybe a sale where I can get 2-3 jeans for under $100 too.

quality and good fitting isn't really always an overlap. but yes, you literally take the pants, go to the tailor, put the pants on and show point to the spots you want to get changed. might even take a pic with you. it's pretty much like going to get a haircut
