Most effay city in the world. There's already an Australia thread so why not have a Toronto one?

Talk about fashion relating to:
• the best country (Canada)
• the best city in Canada (Toronto)
• the best-dressed and most attractive person in Toronto (guess who ;)

List Toronto (or Canadian) stores, websites, /fa/ people, meetups, and shit

decently cool places to look at clothes in toronto include

Queen Street HBC ( ervell, drkshdw, sandro, basic boring shit)
Nomad (whole wack of mens stuff, carry cdg homme pluswhich is nice)
Gravity Pope (kinda shitty but they have some decent stuff i like their maison kitsune stuff)
Haven (haven;t had a chance to go in but, their website is good)
Dutil ( good fro raw denim thats about it)
Holt Renfrew at Yorkdale (same shit as HBC, y-3, saint laurent, givenchy, gucci, prada, junn j, idk random shit, you can get tom ford and diptyque fragrances there which is pretty rad)
Black market and it's sister store (dumb punk fashion but some gems in there, don't pay for the sunglasses they're too easy to steal)
J&O ( acne, helmut lang, hba, saturday surf nyc, apc, some other cool stuff, tiny mens section though)
Tiger of Sweden (decent mid tier menswear, they also stock some at HBC on queen)
Seperentine (sp? haven't been apparently they carry a bunch of rick stuff, hella overpriced though, it's good to try on)

theres probably more that im forgetting about but thats what comes to mind

also don't forget about the consignment shops
you can usually find something decent in them

Ottawa has very little culture honestly, I feel like since we're in the capital they try to shove culture down our throats but it's all so mismanaged and touristy. Changing the civilization museum to the museum of Canadian history, showcasing off all this aboriginal artwork in the art gallery as a mainstay, celebrating things like sparks st or little Italy even though their objectively awful. The great thing about Ottawa are government jobs and the green space, and even then our long winters make enjoying nature kinds shitty

If you live downtown your sidewalk gets shoveled and salted by the condo society. Salt ruins shoes sometimes but it's better than slipping. I lived in a student house for one year and the sidewalks were never shoveled so that was irritating but I mostly took taxis.
