I really loved Yohji Yamamoto and Juun. J. Those Juun. J jackets and outerwear are amazing, I may have a new fav. I liked Ann D. too but I'm not sure about those elliptical button jackets. The pants were definitely good.
Givenchy had great prints but I'm not really a fan of givenchy. givenchy's designs kind of strike me as juvenile. I can never imagine anyone older than 30 wearing anything like that.
CDG+ had some cool stuff but I was kind of disappointed by the prints. Thought KVA and Raf were not very good as well, but I did like those Raf bird sweaters a little.

I liked a lot of Rick's collection but the penis thing was way too much. It seemed like an obvious grab for attention and even though he could be making a statement about how we view the body beneath the clothes, I really did not like it. It made me uncomfortable and I am a gay man.

Looking forward to Kenzo, dior homme, and lanvin too.

The stark white fabric is showing the stiffness of the weave, I don't like the weight or visual texture. It looks very cheap.

The superfluous zippers are bad- we should be at a level in 2015 where you can add tons of zippers and through elevated design still have them functional.

Compare the cuffs to the cuffs on the juunj. The gnak cuffs look of ordinary fabric, ribbing, length and thickness. There was no descretion when choosing thes cuffs except 'do black'. They are the same cuffs you can find on a hoodie at pacsun.

Look at area from above the hips to right below the knee- you can definitely tell that this jacket was designed and conceptualized In 2d. Its entirely flat- it doesn't fall, lay or move with the body. It's just stiffly juts out, like an unhappy afterthought.

No idea wtf is going on with the pants, looks like a mess but not in an intentional way.

And then Adidas shoes.... Like every other meme brand right now... Only the collabo didn't add any new design. Just plain old white Adidas with red stripes. Are these even a collab? Or did they send this look down the runway in Adidas? Isn't this supposed to be high fashion?

The entire brand's hype is literally based around 1 sweater graphic and it was all the hype for like 2 seasons, 2 years ago. Shit I actually remember considering buying a Kenzo logo t shirt in January of 2013, 2 years ago, but then decided that it was already a dying trend and didn't want to be "that guy"

Forget that it's Kenzo and look through the show, there is not a single stand alone piece worth a second glance and it's obvious Humberto and Carol are struggling to stay relevant. It's like Marni, where the name of the brand is the only reason they're able to keep going. In reality nobody gives a shit about Kenzo and the "Kenzo customer" does not exist

I'll let you in on a sweet cool guy fashion tip though Gosha Rubchinskiy and London sports luxe designers are all the meme and hype right now, the trend has been waning for a year or so now but it's not too late, hasn't been standardized into the mainstream beyond the point of no return yet! Well, it was a bit of a love letter to his mentor, so I can appreciate him wanting to take something that he associates so closely with Nemeth and letting those tropes run wild with vast manufacturing at Vuitton's disposal. It's almost like a suggestion of what could have been if Nemeth were still around and had been appointed the head of a big brand like Kim Jones had. And besides, do you really need to see "new" ideas from Jones anyway? He's very clearly charted out what he wants the LV man to be and most things are now just clever variations on what their customers have come to expect. This isn't to say he isn't chock full of ideas, but you know there's going to be a ton of super wearable, very luxe sportswear and stiffened up tailoring in the stores anyway, so why not cut loose a bit with the runway?
