In my middle school black kids wore AF1s/Jordans/Timbs and white kids wore DCs/Vans. Also black kids always showed off their bombers, Bape hoodies, and AF1s with Gucci panelling and pretty much railed on you if you weren't wearing them. I honestly don't even know where the fuck they got those Gucci AF1s. The white/black, early 2000s, middle school fashion dichotomy was actually pretty interesting now that I think about it.
