The best thing you can do is to cut back on shampooing, and when you do shampoo, do not use a lot and use conditioner afterwards. Your hair will become a hell of a lot more manageable. I used to shampoo 1/week. Now that I workout 3x/week, I shampoo LIGHTLY after each workout and that is it.

Also, get a blow dryer.

Beards, left alone, usually won't look great at that length. If you shampoo it, and invest in some beard wax, you'll get a much softer, less pube-y look.

As for the hair. Really, all you can do is grow it out. From a buzz, that's about a year's worth of hair, give or take.
If you've never had long hair, well, it's more of a pain than you might think. But if you really want that look, then go for it, but you'll need some serious will power to get there, because from a medium length, there are about 5 separate awkward phases you'll have to power through to get there.

I'm willing to bet you don't know much about styling hair, and you just wear the way it turns out when you get out of the shower.

I'd invest in some products (wax, gel, mousse, hairspray) , a blow dryer and work on learning to wear it different ways once it's up. It takes a little while to get good at that, you know? The only thing I'd do with a cut would be to take some off the sides. I mean, either grow it long enough to tuck behind your ears or get it taken up above the ears but don't just let it hang.

What do /fa/ wavy, curly frizzy hair on top, frizy straight hair on the sides. Looks okay is short but then slowly grows into a Jew fro. When its shorts a little bit of pomade makes it look half decent but that's only for a week or two until it grows out to this again. Also I'm hella bored with this and want a new cut, recommendations?

Go to a salon, get a cut and style (should be like 45$, plus leave a tip unless you're a schmuck).
Bring the picture and they'll cut it and show you how to style it like that.

It's not a super hard style to pull off, but it takes practice to get your hair up like that without using too much or too little product.

I am 20 years old and have a shit-ton amount of gray hairs in the back and sides of my hair.

I am currently in the process of growing my hair out and it's in the awkward phase so the gray hairs are very, very apparent due to the medium length.
If I don't want to look like shit, would the best route be to continue growing it out (my goal is for it reach my chin) and hope that long hair will hide the grays, or to cut it and keep my hair short?
