New Balance sneakers are actually designed to be good for your feet when running and stuff

are pointy toes that bad though? i mean, if your toes fit, then why would you want the toebox to be any different?

The shape of feet after modern shoes is much more aesthetically pleasing.

much better to have extra length and room in the toe box.

>>9349567
When you walk and flex your foot to stand on the ball, your toes splay outward. This is a natural function of your feet and gives you stability. When shoes constrict this natural process, the tendons and connecting tissue at your toe joints will be pushed away from its natural form. Thus your toes start pointing inward. This can lead to knee and back problems.

sure but sacrificing health and function to that degree over aesthetics is absurd. Why not incorporate both. I think Rick was saying in an interview how he dislikes the way modern clothing cuts into our flesh unnaturally.

Semi-related quote: "Working out is modern couture. No outfit is going to make you look or feel as good as having a fit body. Buy less clothing and go to the gym instead."

He understands the importance of being healthy and taking care of your body.

what kind of shoes would you recommend then? curious, cuz NBs are a lot better than roshes or jordans or geobaskets (lol) in terms of not messing up your feet

if you want to stick with New Balance then you need to wear their ugly Minimus line

Not really sure myself. I have had to size up a lot on many shoes. I guess NB is good, but it depends the model you get.

Roshes are way too narrow, although they are ok because they material is very forgiving. The best thing I currently have is Nike free but even then they have point toes...

This pic is of a "barefoot" style shoe but it still is ugly.

The most difficult part is finding formal shoes besides sneakers. Would be nice to have a non-barefoot type shoe like a derby that is also comfortable.
