i can't vouch for the canvas ones. i bought a pair but accidentally ordered womens, so they were too small. i heard you can make the canvas material waterproof with some beeswax. do that so they don't get ruined

I've hiked hundreds of miles in a pair of Palladiums I got new for 6 bucks. Perhaps one of the best purchases of my life. The have a narrow foot bed and are extremely durable. I've had them for maybe 3 years now with moderate to heavy use, still going strong
